- Contract Term. Our current contract was for 10 years. The renewal is a 6-year agreement and cannot be cancelled prior to the full term being completed. Comcast’s current business practice allows for negotiating 24 months prior to expiration. If we negotiate at the 4yr mark and came to a new agreement, we would be able to start the new agreement. Meaning, the 6 year agreement could be a 4 to 4 ½ year agreement.
- The HD Technology fee of $9.95 per month is included in Options 1 and 2
- Upgrade Option 1 HD Receiver to a DVR - $9.95 per month
- Both options include service to three outlets in each home.
- If customers want a higher tier of channels, they would pay the difference between the retail cost of Digital Starter ($69.95) and the next tier they choose instead of the full price of that tier.
- Current charge for Performance Internet is $69.95 per month.
- Comcast Modem costs $13.00 per month.
- You may purchase and install your own modem if you wish. Compatible modems are available in the $40-60 price range.
